Commissioned to create an online educational resource for "Celebrating Halton's Heritage", a Heritage Lottery funded project by Heritage HQ and Halton Borough Council. A series of in-person and online CPD sessions accompanied the resources.

Commissioned by the University of Liverpool Institute for Irish Studies to create graphics and visualisations for an opinion poll in The Irish News.

The logo design represents the irregular stonework prevalent in the architecture of the heritage centre and the surrounding area.

Logo, bespoke colour scheme and design for teachers' resource pack and PowerPoint presentations for Elements of Halton science project, for Cultivate - Halton's Cultural Education Partnership. The resource pack can be viewed on the Elements of Halton project website. The logo design is based on the path and shape of the River Mersey through Halton and references the mixing of coloured chemical solutions.

Commissioned by Artist Robyn Woolston to create vector graphic illustrations based on artworks created in her workshops. The floor graphics were installed in Barrhead Park, Glasgow.

The timeline artwork incorporates images from St Helens archive, in addition to photography and original illustrations. To accompany the artwork, a school activity pack and teacher's resource pack were produced. These were provided to school groups visiting Saints Rugby Club at Langtree Park, St Helens.

Liverpool St Helens Heritage Project comissioned an online educational resource pack in order to increase engagement with schools. The activities in the pack were designed to focus on specific National Curriculum targets and provide cross-curricular links with the project exhibition and archive. I Am Cricket

Cricket umpire recruitment campaign for Merseyside Cricket Umpires Association. The design is based on vintage cricket posters.

Your Name Here was a project that asked the people of St Helens to nominate someone to be commemorated permanently by having a park in St Helens named after them. As part of this project, David Bixter was commissioned to produce a series of case studies to demonstrate the potential scope of the application process. The case studies produced included visual, typographical and sound-based artworks which were compiled into an online and printed brochure.

Down Our Way Poster

Poster design for photographic exhibition at Birkenhead Park Exhibition Centre.

Created a series of activities designed for young fans to carry out prior to matches at Langtree Park, St Helens. Developed photography project "Shoot the V" to extend engagement beyond match day.

Illustration and design for marketing of the theatrical production "The Unthinkable Mystery of the Indigo Star" at Unity Theatre, Liverpool.

Commissioned to create a friendly and welcoming prospectus for Gilmour Infant School. The design features original lllustrations of the school grounds.
